The movie had ended a while ago. Evening was already beginning to settle in, the kind that arrived too quickly in places like this, as if the sun had somewhere else to be.
I pulled the jacket tighter around myself, the exhaustion of the day finally catching up. Honestly, I could've passed out right there on the couch, if my bladder wasn't currently making me seek a bathroom.
